Book Review Blog
Happy Monday to all and as promised I have my book review of "Rocket Man" today. This was truly a wonderful book I had fun reading.

Rocket Man, by W.E. Hazelgrove, publisher - Pantone Press. (ISBN - 10: 0615213073)
This is a hilarious novel with a solid plot. The main character, Dale is suffering the consequences of moving from the city to the suburbs in a housing community equipped complete with a homeowners-association and it's rules. Not only can Dale not afford the new home, he is on the verge of losing his job and his wife is contemplating divorce. He continues to make wrong decisions including destroying the sign to the housing division for which the police are about to throw him in jail. He has also been given the task of "Rocket Man" for the Rocket Day project of his 9-year old sons' Boy Scout group. Dale gets in trouble with the boy scouts when gets busted drinking a V-8 and Vodka hair-of-the-dog cocktail mix to get rid of a margarita hangover. If all were going wrong already, his father shows up and needs to move in with him because his wife threw him out. The family drama was very relatable and I felt like I was in the same room with the family fights. This was an incredibly funny story that I could not put down.
